Lerici terra di editori is an annual event held in Pian della Chiesa, during which a publisher tells the story of their publishing house.
Lerici is a land of publishers because three families who played an important role in the history of Italian publishing lived here: the Bompiani, the Mauri, and the Spagnol families. In keeping with this tradition, we invite leading figures from Italian publishing to talk about what goes on behind the scenes of the publishing industry.
In 2023, Gian Arturo Ferrari presented 'A Confidential History of Italian Publishing'; in 2024, Stefano Mauri and Cristina Foschini recounted the history of the Mauri Spagnol Publishing Group; and in 2025, Sandro and Sandra Ferri told the story of e/o.
On Saturday, June 27, at 6:30 p.m., Paolo Repetti will recount the story of Stile Libero, the series that gave Einaudi a new identity.
